Curriculum vitae

I was born 21 November 1936 in Vienna. Law study at Munich University and at Lausanne. Graduated from University in 1962. Traineeship in Munich and Strassbourg. After being admitted in 1966 to the bar, joined the law-firm of Preu & Bohlig specialized in Industrial Property law, particularly patent law. Partner in 1972 and remained an active partner until the end of 2001. Since then continuing practice of patent law in Icking. Involved in teaching and lecturing on intellectual property law with VPP, AnwaltAkademie, Forum and ETH Zürich.

I was part of the lecturing team at Preu, Bohlig & partners for tutorial courses in civil and patent law for trainee patent attorneys and later also in providing training courses for the legal part D of the European qualifying examination to become a European patent attorney.

Member of the German Intellectual Property Association GRUR, of the German AIPPI section and of DGIR, a German IT association.

Languages: English an some French

Focus of activity: industrial property, particularly patent law, licensing and antitrust, employees invention.
